ERIE GARDEN COALITION

BECOME A COMMUNITY GROWER
The Erie Garden Coalition's Community Growers Program aims to supply local food banks and soup kitchens with fresh produce. By establishing a reliable network of community gardens to donate produce, the Erie Garden Coalition hopes not only to feed the hungry in our community, but to do so in a way that is nutritious and strengthens community bonds.
We are looking for gardeners who are either accustomed to or willing to learn how to grow produce organically and in large quantities.
ABOUT THE ERIE GARDEN COALITION
The Erie Garden Coalition is a collaboration between residents, schools, community garden leaders, and businesses. The Erie Garden Coalition aims to strengthen community gardens, provide education related to healthy eating, promote environmental sustainability, and increase accessibility to fresh, local produce in the Erie community.
The Erie Garden Coalition serves as a guide for gardens and related programs in the Erie community. Not only is our goal to emphasize existing gardens in the community, but also to offer resources for individuals, organizations, and businesses who would like to develop their own gardens.
MISSION STATEMENT
